In October we reported on a flurry of activity in California. In September, California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed suit against five major oil companies, accusing them of deliberately misleading the public regarding the environmental and health risks associated with fossil fuel consumption. And in early October, Governor Newsome signed two pieces of landmark climate disclosure legislation. The calendar also reminded us that it’s time for year-end planning–remember, if you don’t plan for it, it’s left blowing in the wind.
